STERLING SILVER RANGE
Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. The minimum millesimal fineness is 925. Fine silver (99.9% pure) is generally too soft for producing large functional objects, and in Sterling the silver is usually alloyed with copper to give strength whilst preserving the ductility of the silver and a high precious metal content.
ALL OUR SILVER HAVE RHODIUM PLATING
Rhodium plating are treated for all our Sterling silver 925 jewellery. In fashion & accessory jewellery industry, most of jewellery are plated by chemicial rhodium plating which is not real rhodium elements contained at all, but it makes them the same colors as rhodium. But, in Sai Vachan Creations CollectionJewellery products, we use real rhodium plating which is much more expensive than platinum, the precious metal.
22CT GOLD FILLED
GOLD FILLED products utilize an outer layer of gold that is 22 karat in fineness. As thin as this may seem, the decorative show surface on many well executed gold filled items can last anywhere from 5 to 10 years depends on its usage! It is not unusual to observe reasonably intact gold filled surfaces on jewellery manufactured well over 75 years ago.
As an example, a bracelet marked as "22K GF" would mean that there should be at least 3 micron OR 5% OF THE WEIGHT OF JEWELLERY of 22 karat gold utilized in the all outer layers of the finished item.All gold filled items has a guarantee stamping which shows ‘3 micron’ gold filled products.
**NICKLE FREE GUARANTEED
Nickel are the most common process for jewellery to make them more shiny before rhodium plating, therefore most of factory use its process, but for our products, Sai Vachan Creations COLLECTION Jewellery, we never use Nickel, since it is prohibited by the law of Canadian Union as well as it brings allergy for sensitive skins.
